ALEXIS TERRIAN

Alexis Terrian began playing the violin when she was ten years old. She began studying privately when she turned thirteen with Phil Marsceau. At age fifteen she began receiving private instruction from Mark Portolese at the Crescendo Academy of Music, and began her career in the Kalamazoo Junior Symphony Orchestra. Her junior year she was nominated at All-State Solo and Ensemble to attend the Michigan Youth Arts Festival in May 2016 where she was given the Distinguished Scholar Award. Currently, she is attending Western Michigan University to complete her undergraduate degree in Performance Violin.

Fox Gospel Music Center is a 501©3 charitable corporation established for the purpose of providing access to music education to the community with a focus on an underserved urban youth population.
