BRIDGET GONDER

Bridget Tucker Gonder is a nurse attorney having received both her undergraduate (BSN’82) and law degrees (JD ’91) at the University of Michigan. Her career path has taken her from staff nurse, to clinical nurse educator, to Associate Attorney, to Director, to Corporate Counsel, to Vice President in a variety of law firms and healthcare organizations. As a young attorney, she litigated matters involving personal injury, workers’ compensation and civil rights.
In her most recent role, she served as a member of the executive team responsible for the risk management and corporate compliance programs of a $3.9 Billion dollar integrated delivery system. She has overseen and provided legal advice in matters of health law including but not limited to professional and general liability litigation, regulatory compliance, insurance, medical staff matters, and contract review and management.
Recently retired from full time executive management, she is currently serving as adjunct professor at a number of local universities in southwest Michigan.
She is married to her husband Charles for 37 years who has been a rock of support for her career aspirations. She is a mother of two adult daughters and grandmother of 5. She plays piano and is a vocalist.
